For my brother and I our story started as kids in the summer in Nantucket. My brother and I grew up 30 minutes south of Boston and as kids, our parents would take us to Nantucket during school vacation in the summer.

When my brother and I got older we went back to the island and fell in love with it all over again. We told each other that if we ever had a chance to buy a property there we would. And so we did, our first property was a small 2-unit building on Macy's Lane that we purchased in 2013. Since then we bought another duplex on the island, converted the basement into rentable storage units,  and recently constructed a 2BR, 2 BTH apartment where the detached garage on the property used to be.  

 

More recently we've set our sights outside of Massachusetts and invested as limited partners in apartment buildings in Texas. As we saw the benefits of investing in other states we've continued to look for value-add opportunities; both locally in Nantucket and also through larger apartment deals in other states. 

We decided back in 2013 that investing cash-flowing income-producing assets would be our best path to freedom. With that freedom we plan to invest and donate in causes we care about, and we're looking to connect and invest with partners who share these same values.
